What we do for businesses

Solar and EV charging work best planned together: they share the same electricity supply and often the same grid application.

Commercial solar panels

Rooftop systems sized to how your site uses power, with battery storage where it pays its way. We handle the survey, half-hourly data review, grid approval and handover.

Commercial EV charging

Chargers for staff, fleet and visitors, including groundworks, load management and help with government grants.

Featured project

We installed this 263 kWp solar system across the roofs of Scotswood Industries, an energy-intensive manufacturer.

Sites we work on

Most of our commercial work is on buildings that use a lot of power in daylight hours.

  • Warehouses and logistics

Large roofs and long working days. Plot D2, 502 kWp.

  • Manufacturing

Steady daytime demand from production. Scotswood Industries, 263 kWp.

  • Schools and colleges

Big roofs, car parks and grant-funded charging. Wrekin College; Chatham Grammar unconfirmed.

  • Sports clubs and leisure

Clubhouses, stands and floodlit pitches. Burton Rugby Club.

  • Farms

Barns, sheds and spare land for ground-mounted arrays unconfirmed.

  • Offices, retail and business parks

Rooftop solar and workplace chargers. Harlow Innovation Park and Delta 200, Swindon unconfirmed.

Ways to pay

You can buy outright, spread the cost with Smart Ease business finance, or use a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on suitable larger sites. Finance is subject to status.

One contractor from survey to sign-off

We start with your data

A site survey and a review of your half-hourly energy data, so the system is sized to how you use power.

We handle the grid paperwork

Applications to your network operator, including G99, are part of the job.

We plan around your site

Access, working at height and live operations are planned before work starts, so you know what's happening and when.

We stay after handover

Monitoring, maintenance options and a performance review after the first year unconfirmed.

Common questions

Do you work outside the Midlands?

Yes. Our home installations are in the Midlands, but we install for businesses anywhere in the UK. We've completed 250+ commercial installations across 11 UK regions.

Can solar, batteries and EV chargers be done as one project?

Yes, and it usually saves work. Planning them together means one design, one look at your electricity supply and, where possible, one grid application instead of several.

Is my site suitable?

Sites with a sound roof or spare land, steady daytime power use and a few years left at the property are usually worth a survey. Tell us the address and roughly what you spend on electricity, and we'll tell you whether it's worth a visit.

Speak to an expert about your site

Tell us about your site and what you want from it. Your enquiry goes to George Joslin, who leads our commercial projects unconfirmed.
